Brand New Design

The external transformation of the 2011 Jeep Compass is nothing short of amazing.  Its front fascia underwent a complete redesign.  In its place is a three-quarter scale Grand Cherokee front clip. Everything forward of the A-pillar is cosmetically new.

Jeep has put a lot of work into making the cabin quieter. They've succeeded. The Compass' cabin is incredibly peaceful for a compact crossover.

Powertrains and Performance

The 2011 Jeep Compass offers a choice of two engines: a 2.0-liter that produces 158 hp and 141 lb-ft of torque and a 2.4-liter capable of 172 hp and 165  pound-feet of torque.

The 2.4-liter provides solid acceleration, going from full stop to 60 miles per hour in approximately 9 seconds.

Any Compass can be "Trail Rated." Trail Rated Compasses ride one inch higher than standard editions. This little Jeep will tackle tougher off-road adventures than drivers would ever dare attempt.

Interior Design and Special Features

Designers have also changed the interior to make the Compass' cabin even more livable. The door panels and center armrest now feature soft-touch surfaces in place of hard plastic. These changes make for a very comfortable and enjoyable ride.
